The tree is down and all the decorations put away for another year. That is one of my priorities once Christmas is over.
I love Christmas but every year it's the same. The build up is so intense but then before the day is half over, Christmas is already being forgotten!
I can't think of another event that has such anticipation and build up just to be over so quickly.

Early morning TV on the day after THE day...
Christmas is over and so...
Watching TV early this morning and the weight loss ads are beginning in force. No doubt, the other ads wills follow soon.
Everyone plans to lose weight,stop smoking, learn French, get rich or make some major change or improvement in their life in the new year.
I forget the numbers but obviously the majority of those who start never finish whatever it is that was so important.
Stopped for a couple minutes on one of the religious channels and the "preacher du jour" was talking about how 3000 people were needed to each make a $273.00 faith donation(now!) or "plant that seed"(now!)...In return for your money(now!) God will then do all kinds of wonderful things for you!(now!)
Apparently God's accountants know that He specifically needs $819,000.00 and according to the "preacher" He must need it now, because the preacher said you need to call RIGHT NOW and get that pledge in ASAP!
I really don't believe God has a mortgage due on the universe...or that He told this "preacher" the exact amount needed for a believer to receive His blessings!
Hmmm, I just wonder if it could be the "preacher" who is "upside down" on something is his "universe"?
Or, more likely, this is the "preacher's" 2012 get rich plan...

Merry Christmas!!!!
Mery Christmas to everyone and I hope you all got everything you wanted and more. Just remember the "gift" we all got that we didn't deserve.
I don't mind all the commercialism of Christmas except for the products of dubious value and obiously only for those who HAVE to buy something but really don't have any desire to put any thought into the process.
If that is all you are going to do then just give them a rock . They will know you at least had to bend over and pick it up...
